Muslims believe that al-Islam is the complete way of life that reflects submission to the will of God. Islam means “submission”, derived from the Arabic word meaning “peace”
Shehada: Declaration of belief in one God (Allah) and Muhammad is His Messenger.
Salaat: Pray 5 times a day
Sawm: Fasting in the month of Ramadan
Zakat: Giving charity
Hajj: Pilgrimage to Mecca
Masjid As-Sabur received its' Articles of Incorporation in 1974 and received its' 501 (c)(3) Non-profit status in 2007
